1 Introduction
APIShort (apishort.com) operates as a transparent API proxy that forwards requests to third-party short drama platforms. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
All content accessible through our API belongs to the respective platform owners and content creators. APIShort does not host, store, reproduce, or modify any copyrighted material. Our service merely facilitates API access to upstream platforms in real-time.
2 Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe that content accessible through our API proxy infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include the following:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including specific API endpoints or URLs sufficient for us to locate the material.
- Your contact information, including full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
3 How to Submit a Notice
Send your DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent via email:
Email: [email protected]
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice
Please allow up to 48 hours for us to review and respond to your notice. Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly forward it to the relevant upstream platform and, where applicable, disable access to the specified API endpoints.
4 Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located.
Send counter-notifications to: [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notification".
5 Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, APIShort has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts or API access of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit or disable API access to content from platforms that are the subject of repeated valid DMCA notices.
6 Upstream Platform Contact
Since APIShort is a transparent proxy, the content you see originates from the upstream platform, not from our servers. For the fastest resolution, we strongly recommend contacting the original content platform directly. We will also forward all valid DMCA requests to the appropriate upstream platform on your behalf.
If you are unsure which platform hosts the content, include the full API endpoint URL in your DMCA notice and we will identify the upstream source for you.
